Our entire office hopes you are are all staying safe and are healthy! We miss all of you so much! As you know, our top priority during this evolving pandemic is the health and well- being of our patients and their families, our fantastic staff of many many years, and the community at large. In response to the spread of Covid-19, we have been temporarily closed for ALL NON- EMERGENCY (elective) PROCEDURES from March 16 until we receive notification of normal operations from the guidance of our public health officials, the CDC , the American Dental Association, and the WHO (I don't mean Roger Daltrey).
We will be available for any dental emergency services and will do our very best to see those of you presenting with pain, discomfort, and/or swelling related to the oral cavity or head and neck regions. Our practice strictly adheres and exceeds the standard for infection control by wearing personal protective gear, using hospital grade disinfectants, practicing the latest sterilization protocols, using single -use disposable materials, and updating training protocols to the latest CDC guidelines on a daily basis in this present environment.
You will see some changes to further protect our patients and staff when it is time for your next appointment:
- Denise and Maria at our front desk will communicate with you in advance reviewing health screening questions
- We will provide hand sanitizer, Kleenex and cute disposable booties outside our front door to our suite for you to put on prior to entering
- Our reception room has been rearranged in a comfortable manner to accommodate our new guidelines along with new plexiglass barriers at front desk and air filtration systems
- Appointments will be managed to allow for physical distancing between patients, reducing the number of patients in the reception area at any one time.
Our team will continue to monitor the situation and provide updated information as it becomes available. As we are still under "shelter in place" provision by the state of California, we are unable to determine when it is appropriate for us to return to our "normal" business hours of operation.
